Could be baby: Pain under the ribs and/or in the upper abdominal region sometimes can be due to a fetal extremity or even the head (if breech). It could also be costochondritis (inflammation along ribs and sternum). Typically these various aches and pains in pregnancy have little clinical meaning. If, however, the pain worsens over time consult with your doctor.
