Maybe: A tattoo is only skin deep shouldnt be a high risk for bleeding. You may ooze and bruise but a life threating bleed very unlikely. Infections can occur and with a mechanical aortic valve , endocarditis is a remote but catastrophic complication. I personally would not go looking for trouble. Antibiotic prophylaxsis may help but chk with your docs.

Not really: You may not bleed much, but i worry about technique and infection and valve infection is a disaster. You are a lucky beneficiary of american ingenuity and medical care! why take a elective risk?
