Your MD: Your nuclear bone scan, from what you said, was most likey performed to evaluate for osteomyelitis / infection in your bone. It was oredred because your md was suspicious for it . Talk to him/her about another one

Ask your doctor: If you are asking how to get it ordered, that would come from your doctor. If you are asking what to get ordered, it may have been a 3 phase bone scan or a white blood cell scan.

Physician: Any physician or nurse practitioner can order study if they agree that scan can answer question. Nuclear scans that address infection may consist of bone scan and/or white blood cell study. You should address your problem with person in charge of your medical care, .
