What are some tips for getting my baby to take medication?

Gentle persuasion: Measure the medicine into a graduated syringe or spoon designed for medicine delivery. Pour or squirt the dose into a tiny plastic cup. Using a small oral dropper, such as the ones provided in infant vitamin or Acetaminophen products, draw up a small amount of the dose into the dropper, place the dropper between the cheek and the gums and squeeze one drop. Gently repeat until total dose is given.

Follow with a feed: The medication often tastes badly and so babies don't like to swallow it. Give the baby the medicine and then immediately allow them to feed. This helps them swallow the medicine.
