DDAVP (desmopressin): It is best not to use abbreviations, i assume you have "central diabetes insipidus". This is a rare condition that causes excessive urination, but is not due to excess sugar in the urine or blood, but rather to a pituitary problem. People who have this are lacking a hormone called antidiuretic hormone. The treatment is to replace this hormone either with a nasal spray or pills.
