Keep trying.: If you have sex during or close to ovulation, you will maximize your chances - so you might want to look for toni weschler's book, "taking charge of your fertility" to help you. Most couples of your age will get pregnant within 8-12 months. I'd keep trying, take your prenatal vitamins, and see your doctor if nothing's happening over the next 6 months. Why is this so simple when we aren't trying?

Options: There are really 2 options. Wait another 6 months and see what happens or see a fertility specialist. Just because you are young does not mean it will be easy to get pregnant. Women who are much younger than you often have infertility, and sometimes it can be significant. So the real question for you is, does it bother you enough now to get a diagnosis?
