Yes it may: One of the two medications combined in your Symbicort inhaler may cause the heart to beat faster than normal and cause palpitations. The medication may affect one’s heart rate and rhythm, and it’s worth letting your doctor know what you’re experiencing, both for your own personal tolerability and also so to assess whether the effect is significant taking your entire health history into account.
