A member asked:

In the last week i have gotten 3 episodes of shocking pain in my arms.after a few seconds it goes away could this be related to zoloft (sertraline) or heart?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neither: "shocking" pain is generally due a nerve impingement. I would consider cervical spondylitis as my first concern. X-rays and MRI are used for diagnosis. Hearts and zoloft (sertraline) are not likely candidates.
