What is the best remedy or treatment for sinus infections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Right diagnosis: There are many misconceptions about sinus disease and overlap with headache. If you are having purulent nasal drainage, fever and obstruction, you can try a short course of afrin 2 sprays 2x a day for three days only. Take some Motrin for pain. Antibiotics can help for bacterial sinusitis and ideally should be guided by culture. If you have pain with chewing, TMJ may be an issue. Soft diet, motrin.
