No: Macrobid is a drug for urinary tract infections. It's not recommended that sinus infections be treated with antibiotics, unless the symptoms have been going on for a long time. If you did treat, it wouldn't be with macrobid.

I have to take Amoxicillin 875mg for 10 days for a sinus infection. I also take the birth control pill, Ashlyna. Will my birth control still be effective during the course of treatment, or do I need to use a back up method during & after treatment?
