Will mupirocin really help get rid of jock itch?

Probably not: Mupirocin is a topical antibacterial agent and will clear an intertrigo if a susceptible bacteria is causing it. Usually however, the infectioin is fungal or a mixed infection the other baceria as well. Evaluation an testing by your dermatologist is recommended.
