Supplement vs Drug: If by boosters you are referring to over the counter supplements, then the answer is straight-forward. Otc supplements are considered food products and must be safe for consumption. They do not have to be medically effective since they are not intended for medical use {they usually have a disclaimer on the bottle}. These supplements do not raise testosterone, they raise company profits...Safely.

Prohormones: Prohormones are available on line, and in nutritional and bodybuilding shops nationally. Although they actually are somewhat effective in increasing serum testosterone, they are just as hepatotoxic as oral testosterones, and should be avoided.
