See below: Medications will not remove the stress. It might make it easier to cope with it, or increse the theshold for the stressor.

Improve reactions: I agree with dr. Germin. I always have to warn my patients that when they take Buspar (buspirone) they won't feel "different" or feel as though they would on a benzodiazapine. This wonderful little pill works to quietly reduce symptoms. Many of patient find that they are able to handle stressors more calmly with buspar (buspirone). It is a gem.
