Work in therapy: You recover from anorexia nervosa by working consistently in psychotherapy with a therapist you trust. Many of the issues in this illness are resistant and tenacious; your resolve can wane from time to time also. Still, there is help. Working with a nutritionist may be useful also, to get an idea of healthy eating patterns so you can practice them in your own life.
