A member asked:

I have a lump or a button near my anal hole. what is it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hemorrhoids...: Hemorrhoids are probably the most common cause of anal pathology. A thrombosed hemorrhoid presents as a lump but is often also associated with pain and bleeding. If your lump does not recede and go away in a few days, then see your doctor for an exam to avoid delay in diagnosis and treatment.
