As above: You can discuss this with your gynecologist. But usually it can take time to get rid of an ibfection.

Only if...: The discharge is from a bacterial infection that the antibiotic "hits." and without a culture, you really can't know! there are many non-bacterial causes for vaginal discharge in women, as well.
