Please suggest some questions i can ask my doctor about peripheral artery disease.

Talk: Talk to your doctor about pain in the calves, especially with going up stairs or prolonged walking.

Does: Does it mean anything when I have pain at night more than during the day?

Does: Does it mean anything, when i lower my legs off the bed to make my feet and/or legs feel better?

Ask: Ask your doctor if you are a candidate for revascularization. Surgery can increase blood flow.

I: I want to do something about my painful varicose veins, can you recommend a vein specialist?

Do: Do you offer laser vein ablation (rfa has limitations)? Can you do my ultrasound in the office?

Always: Always make certain that the md treating your veins is a board certified surgeon.
