Thrush?: Do you see white patches in your mouth? If you have hiv, this could be thrush. This can also be seen with antibiotics or when people use steroid inhalers. Thrush (candida) often occurs when people have lower CD4 counts, although I have seen it in people who have CD4 counts over 300. You should be receiving regular follow up for your hiv. There are medicines that can treat thrush.
