Could be infection: Vaginal discharge could mean an infection, especially if it is yellow. Bacteria may have had a chance to grow more with the presence of blood from your period/ or use of tampons, etc. Also, if you are sexually active, you could be exposed to other possible infections. If there is new discharge, it's a good idea to have it checked out.
