Check Thyroid...: Low thyroid levels, or hypothyroidism, can make you feel cold all the time, it can also accelerate atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. Have your thyroid levels checked and see a cardiologist for a stress test. The last thing you want to do with a history of chest pain is replace the thyroid too quickly, it could precipitate a heart attack!

Could be: Chest pains could also come from a problem with skin, nerves, muscle, shoulder, lung, heart, or stomach. See your doctor for a more thorough history, physical exam and further evaluation.
