See below: This is tough. If you have had a demonstrated issue with a substance, it may be reasonable to Prohibit it even if there is a potential benefit. However, if the prescribing doc acknowledges in a letter that he is aware of a problem, you may be able to stay on your meds. Be careful. Despite your perceived medical benefit, the meds may still be causing more harm than good.
