Many possibilities: Burning sensation can come from many things - a pinched nerve, a muscle spasm, etc. Both of these can be chronic in nature, but can usually be helped with adequate treatment. Usually this involves strengthening and flexibility, but see you doctor for specifics, depending on your exact diagnosis.
