A member asked:

Is it safe for me to be on the pill for a whole year?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely yes: There may be more health benefits than risks from low dose oral contraceptives. Unless you have a strong medical reason not to be on the pills, if you are healthy you can take them until the age of at least 35. If you are also a nonsmoker you can use them until menopause!
