Other symptoms?: Unintentional weight loss is associated with cancer, but usually there are also other symptoms. I would become more concerned if you had unexplained fevers, enlarged lymph nodes, new bruising or bleeding, pain, or a mass that you could feel. More common causes of weight loss due to decreased intake are related to the gastrointestinal system. I would see doc if you have anything in addition.
