Evaluation: The process of learning whether you have a dissociation disorder begins with an in-person evaluation by a psychiatrist, psychologist, or other mental health professional. It can range from amnesia all the way to having multiple different identities. One would look for gaps in time, feelings of being disconnected from one's own experience, or being confused about one's identity, etc.
