Leaking fluid: Only about 10% of women will have their water break before labor. Most of those will know they are leaking amniotic fluid because of a large gush and persistent leaking. Many women do experience an increasing vaginal discharge during pregnancy, which can be concerning - there are tests to confirm that you are leaking amniotic fluid. The safest thing to do is to see your doctor if you are unsure.
