Depends: Indication for shots vary but generally they are advised for individuals with perennial nasal allergies, co-morbid conditions such as asthma, sinusitis, ear infections, severe symptoms that impair quality of life and sleep. Some people don't like to take meds, and shots provide the only non-medicinal long term treatment.
