Yes: Typically "fake crab" is fish that has been flavored to taste like crab. Therefore, a person who is allergic to fish could have an allergic reaction to "fake crab" it is less likely that a reaction would be to the flavoring, coloring, etc. Always read the ingredients on the food label (or ask the chef) and it will identify the main allergens.
