Many: I break colds into flavors: there are chest colds, nose colds and throat colds, although all common colds can cause all symptoms. Stuffy nose and cough are the most common symptoms, but feeling tired, sore, sick, having sinus pressure or earaches all come with the territory. Many colds start with a sore throat before progressing to stuffy nose and/or cough, but some only involve sore throat.
