See doctor first.: Liver enzymes are high for many reasons, but the majority are from damage to liver cells by some process. It can be necrosis as in hepatitis, obstrucyion from gallstones, or ischemic due to venous occlusion or sho ck, and from cirrhosis, etc.. It might be something not in gthe liver, or from a medication, so see your doctor soon first to find the cause, and see if she has to go to the hospital.
