A member asked:

My back is out. i feel i can't move without my pack pinching like a slipped disk so what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rest: When you back is "out", the pinching is usually the muscles in spasm. Rest in a safe position, on the back with the knees up, or fetal position on your side with your neck neutral, apply heat or cold as it gives you comfort. Over the counter medications can help. Get examined and resume movements like walking within 1 day.
