Yes: It can cause injury to nerves in the legs from prolonged compression or it can cause blood clots. Best get checked out if the symptoms persist for any period of time.

Nerves: You can cause nerve impairment if you cross your legs for any length of time. You should keep your legs straight or if you cross your legs switch every five minutes or so.
