Is there an over-the-counter treatment for bacterial viaginosis?

Yes: There are plenty of over the counter antifungals for vaginosis. However, not all cases are due to fungi so an evaluation by a physician should be entertained when you have tried over the counters and your symptoms continue. And, if you are pregnant or diabetic, it's straight to the doc! don't mess around.

No: But after good treatment, the best treatment is excellent hygiene and use of just-in-case small doses of the antibiotic cream used to treat it in the first place...After sex and after a loose bm. The acid level of semen encourages the bacteria to grow, and a source of the infection van be a loose bm hard to get clean from.
