Options: You have two options to regain your fertility after tubal ligation. One option is tubal reversal while the other is in vitro fertilization (ivf). You need an evaluation by a fertility specialist to see which treatment suits you best. IVF: Today, more and more folks are recommending in vitro fertilization for women with a history of tubal ligation. Given your age your succes rates would be highest. It is expensive (up to $12, 000) and most insurers do not cover it. At any rate i talk to your obgyn and seek out a reproductive endocrinologist in the area (cinci or louisville).
