Get checked: While this may simply be a side effect of your birth control pills, it is possible there may be something retained or even infected from your abortion. You should be checked.

Have you had exam?: Generally, women have an exam at 2 weeks after an abortion. If you didn't do that, call and make an appt now. You could be having break-through-bleeding from your birth control pills. But, post-abortion bleeding may be signs of infection, or even tissue from the pregnancy that somehow didn't pass - thus, putting you at risk for infection. You should be seen by your doctor to sort this out.
