Could be.: There are many causes for pain like this, and it's not possible to determine the exact cause without an exam and maybe some tests. Most causes are benign and resolve without specific treatment. You might want to try an over the counter acid blocker (omeprazole or ranitidine are examples) and see if you get relief, and if not consult a physician if the pain persists.
