Depends on...: Whether or not taking charcoal causes a problem depends on how much charcoal and how often. Charcoal is not absorbed into the body, but gets pooped out. It absorbs some things on its way through the intestines. So, a little bit of charcoal, once in a full moon, probably does nothing to the body.
