Common: Those are common side effects (except for fevers) and typically improve with time. However, current guidelines suggest using the lowest effective dose of hormone replacement for the shortest period of time required. It is probably worth a discussion with your doctor to make sure you are on the lowest dose necessary, and to discuss how long you'll need to take this.

Good idea.: Activella has estradiol, a type of estrogen, and norethindrone, a type of progesterone. Estradiol can come in different strengths and forms [tablet, gel, patch]. Some women like the gel because they can adjust the dose easier. Switching to a different form of Progesterone like Prometrium (micronized progesterone) may also help too. Good luck with finding the right help for you. [also Activella comes in 2 different strength.

HRT side effects: I presume that you are taking Activella for menopausal sympotoms of night sweats. Sounds like your sweats are controlled. Activella may cause nausea as well as weight gain. You should be on the lowest effective dose of HRT for the shortest course needed to control your symptoms for which it was started.
