EBV: Epstein barr virus (ebv) has been associated with a variety of conditions, from mononucleosis to various forms of cancer. But it's important to note that the vast majority of people experience no symptoms, or very mild ones. It is likely that additional factors are necessary to predispose individuals to the development of cancers and other serious conditions when ebv is involved.
