For a few days: The watery discharge that accompanies ovulation ("spinnbarkeut") is a result of the rising estrogen - after a day or two following ovulation (regardless of whether or not fertilization occurred, ) the discharge usually thickens and turns whiter from the newly produced progesterone. Sometime a little bleeding occurs around ovulation - this, too, should cease after a few days.
