Depends on cause: Low Progesterone occurs when one has not ovulated. There are many possible causes of this, and the treatment depends on what is causing the failure to ovulate.

Progesterone will : Fluctuate, low in first 1/2 of cycle, higher in second 1/2. Do you have regular periods? If low in the send 1/2 of the cycle it may mean your not ovulating regularly. It doesn't mean you can't have kids, don't worry, but you might benefit from the pill. You need 2 talk it over with the doc who got the labs. If you aren't feeling good it's not the progesterone. Don't chaseprog. Supplement.
