A member asked:

How long does it take to officially become pregnant ? when is the earliest as possible for symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Just a minute or two: "official" pregnancy and regular old pregnancy are one and the same. A test can detect pregnancy within a few days of the first missed period. Once the test is positive it's official. Greater than 50% of women will have some symptoms 5 weeks after their last menstrual cycle. Symptoms develop abruptly and tend to persist.
