After a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage, how long does a patiently typically get over motor apraxia? and photophobia? how can i best accelerate recovery

May vary: Maximum period of spontaneous healing from any brain insult goes about 12-18 months. You may benefit from usage of anti-migraine meds for the photophobia. A speech therapist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist, can assist rehab for the apraxia, and other lingering deficits. Seek out an experience rehab doctor and get a program in place.

Depends on cause: Be cared for by someone with lots of experience. While sah has a single name, it covers an enormous range of possible causes and progressions. On the one hand, the damage caused is in principle irreversible. On the other, the brain is vastly more adaptive than used to be thought. Progressive training cleverly devised can yield amazing results, especially for those highly motivated.

It's variable: We all recover differently to various injuries or illnesses. In general, if you are young and have no medical problems, you will do better than someone older with lots of medical problems. Your best bet is to rest and let the brain recover.
