Need more info and E: Imipramine is a reasonable choice for some pain syndromes, but one of it's effects is on the conduction of the heart. It usually does not speed up the heart, but it can cause a change in one part that makes it risky for some people. You need to have an ekg to measure what is called your qt interval to be sure it is normal. If it is long then that drug is dangerous for you.

Probably not: Fast heart rate is an infrequent side effect of imipramine. At your age a rate of 105 is not dangerous if you do not have heart disease. If the increase heart rate started when you started the medication, then you should stop it and see your doctor and have him/her look into it further.
