Wear the jeans!: Your pelvis and uterus do a wonderful job protecting your baby's blood flow. If you wore something so tight that the blood flow to your baby/uterus/placenta would be compromised, you would be in intense discomfort!. Your baby is fine, so enjoy the last few weeks of those jeans before they go into storage for the next year!

Yes: At 5 wks the baby measures about 1/2 inch long & is protected well in surrounding fluid & tissues that cushion any trauma. It is wonderful that this is on your mind but realize your body is designed specifically to reproduce safely.There are many safeguards built in.As Dr Mayes stated, your body would give you significant pain if you did anything that might be a problem.
