Need to see your doc: I don't know if anyone of your relatives has this. Sometimes a benign tremor runs in families. Not typical for parkinson's disease. See your pcp or a neurologist. They'll want to find out more and examine you to make sure it's not something else. Benign tremors are not 'serious' but can make one self conscious & uncomfortable, & there are medicines that can help.
