Why do people with adhd wear medical alert id bracelets and tags?

They do?: I didn't know they did. I've never heard of that and feel it generally unnecessary. It seems like the deal with adult add is like the flavor of the month. Everyone who thinks they have it, do not.

To indicate their: Prescribed dose of amphetamine (adderall, vyvanse, (lisdexamfetamine) dexedrine) stimulants because many states require er's & trauma centers to screen drivers & passengers in motor vehicle accidents for drugs. Also, some non-stimulants(tenex, intuniv, catapres, capvay) lower blood pressure & rebound hypertension can occur if they'e discontinued abruptly.
