Moisturize!: In most cases all you need to do is use a moisturizing cream to alleviate dry, flaky skin. However, in some people flakey skin can represent a more complicated problem which includes psoriasis, an immune-based disease (see photo) and sebborhea, which is thought to be related to a superficial fungal infection of the skin. If you don't get better with a moisterizing product see your physician.
