A member asked:

Is there a connection between dehydration and high creatine levels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Increased creatinine: Patients with dehydration can have an elevated creatinine (c) level. Usually, patients with dehydration also has an elevated sodium (na), chloride (cl) level and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in their blood test results. A history of working in warm weather and not having enough oral intake of fluids can give a person elevated creatinine levels. Adequate fluid intake is needed to cure dehydration.
