Walking/fx boot: To allow the tendon to rest and heel. You can get a boot from your local foot specialist or at medical supply store. Need to wear the boot for 4 to 6 weeks. Then transition to ankle brace and athletic shoes. You may also receive treatment from a physical therapist thereafter.
